Behrang Mohammadi has been one of the foremost standard-bearers of the local club scene in Malmö for the past decade. A familiar presence as a resident DJ at Inkonst and at PLX’s festivals and parties, he seamlessly weaves together house, disco, techno and unexpected curveballs drawn from his seemingly inexhaustible musical toolkit. As noted in his Resident Advisor biography: “Nothing is too mainstream and nothing is too obscure. It’s all about timing, precision and a bit of cheekiness.”

Mr. Mohammadi is also a co-founder of the record label Spazio Records, where he released his debut 12” in 2017. Having spent several years based in Berlin, he went on to establish TTNOTDB — The Transient Nature of the Disco Business — in 2020, a label that has showcased underground Swedish house talents such as Jo Bubbles and DJ City. Through the club night of the same name, he has in recent years hosted a range of international guests including Daniel Wang and DJ Qu, alongside Swedish DJs Marble, PedroDollar and Henrik Bergqvist.

As if that weren’t testament enough to his musical range, he can also lay claim to having been—quite possibly—the only DJ in history to have played both underground internet radio HÖR and been a guest at the Swedish crate-digging dollar-bin record mecca DJ50Spänn.
