With her sparkling charisma and crystal-clear musicality, soprano saxophonist and singer Nanna Carling has quickly become a phenomenon on jazz stages across Sweden and Europe. Inspired by legends such as Sidney Bechet, Billie Holiday, and Johnny Hodges, she delivers timeless jazz filled with high energy, charm, and infectious joy of playing.
In just the past few years, Nanna Carling has performed up to 300 live shows in countries including Sweden, Denmark, France, and the Netherlands. She has appeared at major festivals and intimate clubs alike, as well as summer evenings, Pride celebrations, castles, and cultural venues—always with the same strong connection to the audience and a stage presence that fills the entire room. The release of the album Melodies for Two (2025) marked a new milestone for Nanna as a composer and artist and was followed by extensive touring across Sweden and Europe. In autumn 2026, Nanna will release her third album.
Born in 1997 and already one of the most promising artists in traditional jazz, Nanna continues to win new fans of all ages. Whether interpreting classic melodies or performing her own material, every concert is a warm, playful, and completely captivating musical experience. Standing ovations are not uncommon!
