Valter Nilsson is the artist who, within the span of a few months, went from club gigs to selling out 12,000 tickets for his summer show at Bananpiren. On March 27, 2026, his highly anticipated album Högsbo Riviera will be released, where he further refines his soul rock’n’roll filled with everyday stories and social conscience. Recently, we got a first taste in the form of the reality-based singalong favorite “Lukas, Dennis & farsan”.

More and more people want to be part of the sense of community that Valter Nilsson and Stigberget invite audiences into. This is clear not least from the rapidly sold-out concerts: the triple shows at Nefertiti in November, Pustervik this spring, and a sold-out show at Fasching in Stockholm. On August 8 he will play Bananpiren in Gothenburg – a concert whose 12,000 tickets sold out in just a few days.

On the new album Högsbo Riviera, Nilsson refines his craft together with his longtime collaborator Johan Weber and expands the soundscape with prominent elements of brass and strings. Valter Nilsson made his Swedish-language debut in spring 2025 with the album Bland de gyllene och de allmänt brända.
